My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd aims to create a safe and trustworthy platform for users and businesses.

Be Honest

  • Reviews must reflect genuine experiences
  • Do not post fake reviews
  • Do not manipulate ratings

Be Respectful

  • No harassment or abusive language
  • No threats or intimidation
  • No discrimination or hate speech

Fraud, Scams & Public Warnings

Users and businesses must not engage in fraudulent activity.

My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd may investigate reports of fraud or scams.

If fraud is confirmed, My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Suspend accounts
  • Permanently ban users or businesses
  • Remove listings
  • Report fraudulent activity to authorities

Important: By creating an account, users and businesses agree that if they engage in scams or fraudulent activity, My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd may publish warnings to protect the community.

Such warnings may include:

  • The business or user name
  • Contact details used on the platform
  • Description of the fraudulent behavior

These warnings will only be published after investigation and moderation by My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd.

Where fraud or misconduct is confirmed, My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Publish warnings to protect the community
  • Display business names and associated details
  • Restrict or permanently ban accounts

All actions follow investigation and moderation.

Business Subscription Rules

Businesses subscribing to My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd services agree to the following:

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly
  • Payment must be kept current to maintain listing visibility
  • Failure to pay a subscription may result in listing suspension

Payment Deadline Policy:

If payment has not been received within 24 hours after the due date, My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to cancel or deactivate the subscription and remove promotional visibility.

Businesses are responsible for managing their own payment schedules.

Note: Public holidays and weekends do not extend payment deadlines, and businesses must ensure payments are processed in time to avoid service interruption.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods.

Subscription Enforcement

Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in:

  • Reduced visibility
  • Suspension of features
  • Removal of promotional content

My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd may modify subscription features at any time.

Moderation

My LocalLink (Pty) Ltd may remove content that:

  • Violates platform rules
  • Spreads misinformation
  • Contains harassment or abuse
  • Attempts scams or manipulation

Repeated violations may result in permanent bans from the platform.
